Depart Arusha early morning and drive through scenic Maasai lands toward Lake Natron (approx. 4-5 hours). Afternoon: Explore the lake's vast flamingo habitat — Lake Natron is the primary breeding ground for East Africa's lesser flamingos. Hike the Engare Sero waterfall gorge for a refreshing swim. Evening briefing for the midnight trek. Overnight: Lake Natron Camp. Meals: Lunch, Dinner.
Begin the challenging midnight trek (approx. 12:00 AM) with professional guides. The steep ascent takes 5-7 hours through volcanic ash and rocky terrain. Reach the summit (2,960m) at dawn for a transformative sunrise over the Great Rift Valley, Lake Natron, and distant Kilimanjaro.
